We have a Longaberger Woven Traditions Heritage Green butter dish with the knob on the lid. My mother accidentally broke the base and now we only have the lid. I'm trying to replace it so she doesn't feel bad anymore that she broke it, and can't just get a close match as she procured the plate set for the bridal shower so she knows exactly what we had and that it was a match for our set.
Does anybody here happen to know if the newer (knobless lid) bases are interchangeable, or at least functional with the old knobbed lid?
I can see from my research the base that has been broken is shaped slightly different from the new bases (straight vs. curved sides) but was hoping somebody could help out.
