Title: Modern Income or Mission Impossible
Post by: EscapeVelocity2020 on October 01, 2015, 10:11:38 PM
I've been following this YouTuber that is a 30 y.o. 'retired' video-gamer for a while and I thought this exchange was interesting:

https://youtu.be/Nh6gxNC5BzI?list=PLeyGCRcG5vrEdx-3tQ-0wVWw4VPENvcsV

It's not all milk and honey, grass greener on the other side, and all that ... but it's not all that bad either.  Pretty interesting for what is possible for online businesses and following your passion.

Reactions?  Like MMM, this guy 'retired' early to what he loves to do - so did you find this similarly inspiring, or that this guy is screwed, or do you want to try something similar?

The link is actually pretty good, a big part of the intnet of the post (I have ghostery - https://www.ghostery.com/en/ and adblock - https://adblockplus.org/ , so results may vary)...  You can listen to a guy talk about the Mona Lisa on the internet, or you can look at the Mona Lisa yourself... etc.

FWIW, I've heard a few 'young people' say "I'm so over the internet".  Sheesh, I still think it's the 'bees knees' :)

I didn't watch the post (the start of the video made me lose interest) but I appreciate the ghostery mention.  I've been using adblockers for years, but hadn't heard of this.  Thanks!
