Pricing Toys to Sell Online and Best Place to Sell

I've checked out a few library books about selling online, but I wanted to come to the experts here.  I've already found a few discussion threads here with tips for selling on eBay and Craigslist, but I'm also wondering about selling stuff on Amazon.  Anyone have experience with that?  And which place is easiest for a newbie to sell a few random things?

I'm trying to get rid of a bunch of toys from my childhood (McDonald's Happy Meal toys, Polly Pockets, and other assorted toys from the 90s)  All are in excellent condition, and I'm told might be worth something, which is why I'm not just donating them.  What is the best way to price these?  Just by looking for other listings on eBay, etc?  And if I'm not looking to start selling things long term as a side gig, I just want to get rid of these toys, which place is best to sell them between eBay, Craigslist, and Amazon?  Or is there somewhere else that would be better for selling toys?

I do well with that sort of stuff on ebay. Craigslist is more difficult when it's a low cost item. Amazon is more hassle, but probably worth a shot.

IDK if it is just familiarity for me, but I think ebay is so much more straightforward than selling on Amazon.  I also think ebay is a pretty good gauge of what something is worth.  I have looked up some old toys just out of curiosity before, and they weren't ridiculously priced.  It may be best to sell in lots to get a good balance of proceeds v. time commitment.  It's a pain in the butt to take time out of your day to print a label and package up a $5 thing. (For which you net $4.05 for after the $0.30 paypal transaction fee, 2.9% paypal fee, and 10% ebay fee.)

Ebay for collectibles, Amazon for commodity products, Craigslist for bulky items

Thanks, Moustaches.  This is helpful.  I've seen similar toys to what I have on both Amazon and eBay, but it sounds like eBay is probably better in my case.

Thanks for the info, catccc.  I've found toys similar to mine on eBay and Amazon priced between $25-$90 each, and others around $5 (probably will group these as you suggest).  But the fees were what I was worried about, and I had heard eBay had more fees than Amazon.  I may just keep an eye out for awhile and see how well these things are actually selling before I jump in an try to sell mine.
