Title: Low rolling resistance tires?
Post by: MoneyCat on February 16, 2015, 08:09:08 AM
Anyone out there purchase low rolling resistance tires for their car?  Do they really save money on gas or it is just a gimmick?

TireRack has a lot of informative tire tests - here's one that may be relevant for you: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/testDisplay.jsp?ttid=121

I've been using Bridgestone Ecopia tires for 2 years now, and like how they still perform pretty decent in the snow.  I've been saving about 1 mpg, which isn't much, but they are going to last longer with my lots of highway driving, which is the reason I purchased them.  I got a good deal ordering them through Costco.
