« on: December 19, 2020, 01:21:41 PM »
I lost my job in March 2020. I left 401k as is with the employer.
I have a 100k with 20k loan.
What are my best options? Please advice

Sorry to hear that you lost your job. It's kind of impossible to say what you should do with so little information. Why do you need to do anything with the 401k at all? Do you need the cash now, or can you get by without it?

As for the loan, you will need to check the terms. It's possible the due date will be accelerated, or it's been counted as a distribution, now that you've left your job. Check out:

Yeah, more details needed for any recommendation.

Do you have good funds in the plan?
Do you need money right now?
Does the plan charge people who have left?
What does your general financial situation look like?

The more details the better.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
