My wife and I just moved into our first house and will be trying to start our family soon.
Therefore, it is time to start looking at life insurance.
What are people's thoughts on life insurance?
My thought is to look at a 20 year term policy. This will roughly cover the mortgage and raising kids to teenage/college years. Also get enough to pay off the mortgage and have money for college, etc.
What companies should I look at? I have heard good things about New York Life. Other ideas?
