Legal Question in Regards to Wills-Lawyer needed, pref. Canadian
« on: February 21, 2016, 07:49:24 PM »
I'm hoping someone can help me with this-it is a work related question for me.

If someone names an institution in a will as a recipient of money and that recipient accepts the money, is there any legal duty for the recipient to use the money as was intended?

Take for example if the money was to be used for a particular group, say kids with a certain disability and the money was then used for kids without a disability, or perhaps a different disability. Besides ethical considerations (which I am facing as I am being told to spend money on something other than what it was intended) what are the legal implications, if any? I'm hoping there are, as I REALLY don't want to be in this position!

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
