Title: Kirkland Calcium + D3 expired 8/13 - still OK?
Post by: jeromedawg on August 26, 2015, 08:52:19 PM
Hey guys,

I got a big tub of Kirkland Calcium + D3 (600mg) for my wife from Costco a while ago that expired 8/13. At the time we thought she would use/need it but ended up using very little of it.

Is it still ok/safe to take considering how long it's been expired? Or would it not be beneficial at all? We kinda forgot about it but I just dug it up after looking around for her prenatal vitamins. I figure it might be something she needs to take but wonder if it would be of any benefit.

Should I just dump it and get a new one (if she really needs it)?

It will still be safe and provide the same benefit. Calcium doesn't spoil.

Related, we recently got some kirkland ibuprofen (advil generic) that is not expired but my wife swears does not work.  Sounds super unlikely to me.  What do you think?
