Keep or sell?
« on: June 04, 2014, 04:12:27 PM »
I have a fiesta ware relish tray that is very pretty and was my mothers.   I don't remember her using it, and since I've inherited it, I have not used it either. I am considering selling it on EBay.  Similar trays have sold for $300 and even more.  Would you sell it?  I would put the money toward the kids savings or toward our mortgage.

Yep.  Someone out there wants it to use or display.  It will be used for its intended purpose and won't take up space at your house.

Do you use it?  Will your Mom get really mad if she found out you sold it?  Do you care?

I'd say sell it unless it has some family sentiment.  But accumulating "stuff" is no bueno.

We have a bunch of them. They were given to us. I would never pay for it, its just a mass produced piece of pottery. I just don't get it, don't see why people pay big bucks for them.  The one's a the store are very similar.  Sell now before the current generation that cares is too old to care!
