Plumbing issue
«

Hello!
I have a plumbing issue. The washing machine where the pipe goes into the wall is backing up and flooding my wash room. At first the plumber thought the black pipe was not secure enough and he tied it down but it still floods. Now he's thinking there is clog where the white pipe bends further down. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks!

Snake the drain? Unless there's some weird reason you can't snake it, you got a bad plumber.

Not sure if a washer standpipe is allowed to have an offset in it. If nothing else, it's unusual!
But yeah, a snake needs to be run through the pipe, most likely. There's a clog somewhere, typically!

Yeah my plumber is included with the HOA. You get what you pay for I guess. I will talk to him about snaking it.
