I was reading the Frugalwoods blog which I LOVE!! and came across their "expensive items that we own post".
One of the items was the top-of-the-line electric tooth brushes.
Now good health (including dental health) seams to be a standard tenant of mustachian/frugal living so I can see where paying a little more to protect something as important as your teeth would be a no-brainer.
My question is, are the fancy/expensive electric toothbrushes actually better than the battery powered ones you can get at the grocery store?
Do they perform better? Do they last longer? Anything else I may be missing as to why they are worth the extra $$$?

There have been a couple of lengthy discussions on the merits of electric
toothbrushes on the forums recently:

Consensus from those threads was essentially "yes, they absolutely last longer, and *most* people think they perform better". I've had the same sonicare for over a decade.

It definitely has issues. Best approach is to use google site search. Go to google and type "site:forum.mrmoneymustache.com [search term]" So in this case, you could type site:forum.mrmoneymustache.com electric toothbrush
=)
