I am currently negotiating a contract with a company to facilitate a summer camp that will happen in 2017. This would entail hiring a staff and conducting the necessary background checks, meeting with local boards of health for licensing and recruiting participants. While the camp itself will be insured in case of an unforeseen event, I have recently been thinking about getting insurance to protect myself from liabilities during the set up of this camp. Anyone have experience with insurance for 1099 work?
