For me, the two areas where it has helped are travel hacking and getting a good mortgage rate.  So if you aren't buying a house, I'd start with travel hacking.  There is lots of info on the forum about it, and everyone's needs are different, but personally I've found the most value in Chase Ultimate Rewards and the Southwest Companion Pass.  I'm out of the game, though, as we've moved to Canada and the deals aren't as good up here.

Your credit rating can either be very important or completely meaningless to you. It all depends on what you are trying to do.

You can probably get $3,000 worth of credit card points/miles per year fairly easily.  You can go to TravelMiles101 to learn the ins and outs of the miles game, or just check a site like Doctor of Credit to see the best current bonuses: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/best-current-credit-card-sign-bonuses/

Keep your score high?
Unless you are in the market for a large purchase you won't be making in cash, the credit score probably won't impact your day-to-day life much. It may help you qualify for certain rentals or jobs or volunteer opportunities, if some other party is running a credit check on you.

Also, honestly, if you've just pulled yourself out of a bad credit situation I'd be very, very wary of immediately getting more credit cards and/or getting into points/miles hacking. Maybe this is a time to just enjoy the peace of having solid credit. In a year or so you can revisit the points churning ideas others have suggested if that still appeals.

But congratulations! You now have one less thing to worry about in life.

Well done. Now you have it should you ever need it.
