No, this is not an attempt to justify antimustachian spending!
Now that I have avoid the IMP (internet mustachian police), let me ask for your help in puchasing this "thingy".
I am looking for a type of plumbing valve that does what a tee does except that the third arm (the one pointing perpendicular to the other 2) should be a valve instead of just a tee. Even better would be a spring valve instead of a ball valve.
Is there a specific term for this type of tee/valve?
I need this to connect to a vacuum pump so that I can let air in when I need to. One arm of the tee would be connected to my pump, one to my vacuum recipient and the other to my "intake" tube.
I am looking to replace the one that I have currently because it lets air in and I lose my vacuum. The one that I have is basically a Y tee with a 45 degree with a springloaded button on top that either blocks air or lets air in when I press it. Trouble is, either the seal is gone or the spring needs to be replaced. A suggestion for where to buy a small but strong spring would also be appreciated.
So can anybody help me with this? Sorry if this is unclear, I have no idea what the technical terms are for most of what I described.
