Title: HSA 'Select Account' and Schwab account
Post by: BTDretire on August 18, 2016, 06:43:05 PM
I have moved my HSA to Select account, https://www.selectaccount.com/
and I want open a Schwab account through that.
I see there is an $18 annual fee for the Schwab account.
Anyone know what else I will be hit with?
I'll probably just put the money into an Index fund or ETF.

My HSA account has a ceiling at which you're charged a fee - $3000 cash in the HSA account - after which the fee is eliminated.  I move everything above $3K into the connected Ameritrade brokerage account.  Find out if your Select HSA might have a similar threshold for fees where, "For $X total assets held in the account, the fees are waived".
