how to watch the original Stars Wars trilogy for free

I want to watch with the kids at the very least Empire Strikes back and Return of the Jedi before the next movie comes out (they have already seen the first movie). I reserved on Netflix but says very long wait (a month?). I also have Amazon prime but I can't see it, but maybe I am searching wrong.
Our library incredibly only has 1 copy of original trilogy, and it is neither available or checked out (lost?)

any suggestions?

I bought the complete (for now) 6 DVD set off of Ebay for $55 for my youngin's to watch. If you go used, you can buy them much cheaper than that. Not free but much cheaper than going to the movies.

You can also find them online, depending on your feelings about streaming/downloading.  I never download, but I do watch streamed movies and tv shows.

The original DVDs are not available for purchase, from what I understand. Many library systems are down to their last copies. For that reason, it is unlikely you can get it from ILL--no way they're gonna lend out one of 3 copies with 165 holds. Not the libraries' faults. We WANT to buy them!
