Title: How to: Single and looking to relocate from a distance
Post by: Holyoak on March 13, 2015, 07:17:09 AM
Hello,

I'm thinking of buying a home in an area that makes easy trips from my current rental not all that practical.  Please give me tips how you folks who are in my situation relocated to a new area far away.  I don't want to miss out on homes I think I would like, but realistically can't go to see each one, or afford to stay in a hotel for weeks on end...  Really don't want to tie myself to a rental, so maybe an extended stay motel, airBnB, pay a fellow Mustacian some sweet cash flow to rent a room?

Thank you for the help.

I rented a room from a friend until I bought my house. My current roommates found my room listing on Craigslist. I'd look for a month to month room rental and live there until you find where you want to go long-term (or you may decide to continue doing that, because it's cheap!).
