How to post a case study: copy/paste question.
« on: March 19, 2014, 03:56:14 PM »
What's the best way to compose a case study post offline and the copy and paste to a post without ending up with funky formatting or other issues. Every so often I hit something that makes my half written post disappear and that would suck if it was long and complicated...

Write it out using the appropriate HTML tags for formatting, then copy/paste into a plain text editor like Notepad.

Alternately, write it on the website and periodically copy-paste into another window just to "back it up".

Had the same question and came up with this approach:

It is faster for me to do it this way vs. hand-editing HTML tags but YMMV.  Always interested to hear better ways.
