Title: How to Get IT job in Baltimore/D.C area

Hey All,

I am planning a move to Baltimore/D.C metro area. Any advice on how to land an IT job in that area? I've never had to search for an IT job before -- been working at the same job since I got in the industry 3 years ago. Currently, I am a junior DBA at a managed services company.

Any recommendations for job posting sites, or recruiters--never used one before, not sure what to expect-- would be much appreciated.

Well, there are plenty of them. Some will require clearance. There are also plenty of candidates. I like Indeed for job searches. I would also recommend joining a few of the many professional networking orgs in your field.
