Title: How to get a deal with ADS or ADT
Post by: purple monkey on October 06, 2016, 08:42:00 AM
Hi,
I signed a contract with ADS home security.
Yes, facepunch.
So I have five more months and want out, as I do not like their service.
Any suggestions on leverage or how to save some money?
TIA

Since you're under contract, you have no leverage, unless you have proof that they are not delivering on the service you paid for (outages, false alarms, etc.).  If that is the case, though, I'm sure you could talk to a nice CSR and explain that you would respectfully like to end your contract early.

Otherwise you may have to just eat the costs.

Just 5 more months? They'll pass by soon.
