Title: How to figure out retirement account fees?

This may win for the dumbest question but how do you figure out your fees on your retirement accounts?

For instance I have a 401K account from a previous employer at Fidelity which I just kept there.  In my quarterly statement, there is a $7.50 administrative fee so likely $30/year but that can't be everything right? 

We have a couple of other things (IRA, current 403b) that i would like to better understand.

Dumb to not know, but good to be educating myself now.  Maybe?  Thank you!

PS:  Sorry if this has been broached before but I poked around to look and didn't see anything.

Good question - It's not obvious.  Start by looking at transaction history for the last year.  You should see admin fees there.

Also check the expense ratio of each fund you're invested in.  You won't see that taken out anywhere, it's built into the daily pricing of the fund.

Yup, that pretty much covers it.
