I've got two - one is Gold's Gym. I believe I need to get them to give me a special "cancellation request form", send it in via certified mail, and pay one last month. Anyone deal with this?
The other is FreedomPop. I thought maybe someday I'd want to use them if I got an apartment near work and wanted really cheap internet, so I took advantage of a free device offer. But there's no way to cancel your subscription. In theory you can call them, but I think they just let you sit on hold indefinitely until you give up. What else can I do?
EDIT: After maybe 30 minutes on hold with Freedompop I was given the option for a call back, and they did call back and put me on a totally FREE plan.
