How should I handle this :mechanic
« on: May 23, 2016, 04:53:32 PM »
Went to a trusted mechanic that I have used multiple times (4x?). Walked in on Tuesday the owner who I always deal with was out getting parts. Talked to an employee. Check engine on. O2 sensor via auto zone. Also a year before he gave me a list of pending inventory of maintenance. Asked that they look for what MUST be done because coming up on 100000. I made an appointment for  Thursday because employee said those are the less busy days. (This is on Tuesday). Okay Thursday drop off with the owner about 10am. Reconfirmed Tuesday conversation. Have new phone number (has mine and SO).

Okay it's Monday afternoon..... crickets. Would at least want a call of progress. In the pass I did have to call but those were one day jobs. And he called too to approve the work. Not STRESSED because I am driving a friend's car who's out of the country.

So how to approach this?

Call them? Maybe your phone number got written down wrong? Not sure what the issue is w/ you just calling them. *Shrugs*

I agree. Call them.

In the time it took you to type that post, you could have had an answer.  :)
