Congratulations!  Not my thing, at least at this stage of my life, but more power to you and I look forward to following along as you equip it and head out on your travels!

Curios why you didn't have the loft over the driving area, as so many Class B and C RVs do.  You never need to stand up in the driving compartment anyway, so it leaves areas where you might want to stand up free.

Either way, the removable panel is a good idea.  My camper van had one that slid on top of the fixed panel, so you didn't have to take it down or find a place to keep it, just prop up the edge and slide it down between the mattress and the fixed part.  It was about the same length as the fixed part, so it cut the sleeping area in half.

Also, I notice a lack of sofa or chairs, whats the plan for that?

I thought this would work better with the bathroom setup I want to build--but I have been considering shuffling it around to the arrangement you're suggesting. I haven't taken the time to do another set of drawings to set it up that way yet, but maybe I'll do that today and see what I think. A big advantage of ditching the pass-through bathroom idea would be one less watertight door I need to install.

Makes sense. I'll have to do some experimenting to see what I want to do with that.

Seating will be with cushions or mats on the floor, Japanese style. The table will be set up for this height. We'll have a couple of camp chairs and a small folding table to set up outside when the weather is nice as well. No couch, but the bed is always available for lounging/napping on, of course.

Nice idea.

I always had a sofa that folds out.  You wouldn't think, with so little space, that you would ever have overnight guests, but I have on a number of occasions, even in the van.  Also nice for when you want to sleep separate (if one is sick perhaps), or when too tired after a night of hard partying to climb the ladder to the loft... all might be rare or never, but I found it nice to have the option.  Would be just as easy to have floor level sleeping arrangements, you'd just need the right size and shape cushions for it

Yeah, we figured we could just throw the mats down on the floor with some blankets if anyone wants to come have a sleepover with us :-)
