Title: How does a negative statement balance affect my credit score?
Post by: ND on May 20, 2017, 02:52:01 PM
I'm trying to build credit with a card that has a $2500 credit limit.  Right now I'm booking hotels and buying computer parts, but I've been spacing out my transactions over the course of several days, so I can pay off each transaction immediately and keep my utilization below 10% at all times.  I just noticed that my next statement balance is about negative $50.  Would this show up as "no activity" for the month on my credit score?  Would this slow down the process of building credit?
