Once a year FI tasks
« on: March 03, 2020, 04:26:00 PM »
hey guys I just remembered I forgot to max out my Traditional IRA (I wish this could be automated).
Makes me wonder if there's any other once a year things I need to remember to do?

for those that need a refresher on the confusing vanguard site:
—How to contribute to IRA: personal.vanguard.com > “my accounts” > “account overview” > “(your name)  traditional IRA (account number)” > “contribute/withdrawl” > “contribute to IRA” >  select checkbox for “Federal Money Market (Settlement fund)” > enter 6,000 (the 2020 limit)

Can you not automate it? Is there no annual option? My (weekly) contribution is certainly automated...

This link might help.
