Need some suggestions on sites to search as I have only limited Airbnb experience with Ontario cottage rentals.
DH and his siblings are planning a couples-only trip for the last week of October. We need a 3+ bedroom place for the first 4 days and a 4 bedroom place for the last 3 nights (on the weekend). Can be in the same or different places for the whole week.
We are willing to travel just about anywhere within a 4 hr radius of the GTA although the weekend portion should be max a 2-3 hr radius (as one couple has to come after work).
Any suggestions where to look? I've found some likely places on Airbnb and have started poking around Kijiji. I'm much better at travel hacking hotel points haha! Our budget is ~$300/night but it is flexible (I prefer cheaper haha!)
We've been focused on cottages (remote areas okay although proximity to a town is slightly preferred) because the main point is togetherness. My DH, his brother and my SIL have all battled cancer and with the 4 siblings in their 50s/60s, we'd like to make memories together.
