how do I pitch to non-profits everywhere?

I made a book for people struggling with finances as a result of crappy life circumstances, tricky neurology, etc. It seems like it's good! (Link in my signature.)

An Awesome Poster suggested I pitch to non-profits that they buy the book in bulk, for free or cheap distribution to agency clients. This would be a dream come true!

How do I pitch such a thing?

The book is relevant to the US, Australia, NZ, Canada, parts of Europe/UK (really not sure about other places, as I'm not familiar with the cultures and systems). How do I reach the "who's who" of agencies in such places? What do I say?

I'd also love ideas on how to encourage individuals or small groups to sponsor copies for their neighbourhood agencies, low-income neighbours, etc. (One copy in each Christmas gift hamper? Yum!)

In the US, the Foundation Center is  a kind of clearinghouse of philanthropic information and resources.  They might be able to help you, or they might point you to a nonprofit that would be interested in funding/doing the distribution. foundationcenter.org

Maybe the United Way, too?  Or the CFC?
