Haircuts: there looks to be room for improvement here as well. Though I haven't gone full Mustachian and started giving myself buzz cuts, I still only spend about $20 every two months on a haircut from a local barber. My wife spends even less than this, going to Great Clips to have them chop off a foot of hair when it gets too long.

I watched some videos on YouTube on cutting hair and gave it a shot. It's actually pretty easy for men. If anything I'd say my hair looks a little better than when I went to a barber since I can give myself touch ups any time I want. Also a nice time saver since I don't have to wait for a seat anymore. Just take your time the first few times you cut hair until you get comfortable with it.

If you stay in the larger house, would it be possible to rent a room to a someone temporarily? Or possibly do an exchange for some child-care services?
