House caretaking
« on: March 20, 2012, 01:12:58 AM »
Does anyone have a good suggestion of where to look to get a home care taking gig? I'm actually care taking a house right now, for some friends that are selling. They moved to another state and I'm living here for the cost of utilities, and keeping the place nice for realtors.

However, this house has some offers and will be selling soon. I tried googling for care taking sites, and all I found were ones you have to pay for.

Have you asked any local real estate agents? They would know if there are similar houses on the market in your area, you might just get a steady stream of temp housing.

care.com and care4hire.com have a lot of similar things, but I don't see much in the way of strictly house sitting.
