Hotmail problems

My Hotmail keeps coming up with the error message "Cannot send or receive messages"

Is anyone else having problems with their Hotmail?
Any suggestions for fixing it?

It has been buggy and laggy lately. I think they are doing something to force ads through ad blockers. Certainly chews up a lot more bandwidth than it used to a year ago.

I also have issues with not being able to click attachments in safari.... need to switch to firefox to make it work.

If you get tired of Hotmail, you can set Gmail to check your Hotmail account and deliver the messages into your Gmail account.

I like the idea of sending Hotmail over to gmail Kwill but they send a verification code to the Hotmail and I still can't see any new messages on my Hotmail  (argghh!)  I'll definitely try it if I can sort out the damn message problem.

I remember this happening a couple years ago but it lasted only a couple days and then Hotmail sorted itself out.

I just tried signing in to my Hotmail. I had to reset my password since I hadn't manually signed in in so long that I forgot my password, but I didn't have any trouble seeing messages once I was in.

Have you tried checking from a different browser? I was on Chrome just now.

Thank you so much Kwill that worked!  I got in through a Chrome browser.

It's new and "improved" with a lot more ads.  What a pain!
