We have gotten rid of one car (yahoo!) and try to avoid driving the other one when we can. So far, so good.
Still, it would be great to be able to get places a little faster than walking sometimes so I'm hoping to sell my 125 Genuine Buddy Scooter (sorry man, I love you, but you are sitting on my lawn right now and that's just wrong) and to use the proceeds to buy 1-2 electric commuting scooters like the ones you can now rent in some cities.
I know that most people here are into Ebikes and EVs but I'm hoping that people might have some personal experience with scooters as well. Specifically, I'm looking at stand-up scooters that have decent range (10-15 mi) and speed (same) and that can be carried fairly easily onto a bus or metro.
I've done a lot of online reading and looked at a lot of ranking and reviews ... now I am looking for personal experiences (the good, the bad, and the ugly).
