Homeowners insurance

My current policy has a $1k deductible and guaranteed replacement cost (about $200k) for $1k/year. I’m wondering if anyone has advice on homeowners insurance? I have no idea if this is good or not. Luckily I’ve never had to use it, knock on wood.

Your deductible is super low, probably unnecessarily so. I assume you have more than $1k in your emergency fund, so you can probably increase the deductible and save quite a bit on your premiums.
