When I am doing active things like riding a bike, I get super hungry, and have always relied on energy bars like Clif bars to keep me going - I imagine I am spending more than is necessary on these (usually $1-$1.25 each), and would love to hear if anyone has found any good recipes to replicate some tasty bars at a drastically reduced cost.. I may be experimenting with this myself, and if I do will post my results here.
