I need to keep in touch with my 90-yr old mother in the UK, who is slightly hard of hearing. If I use a skype phone call she either cannot understand me, or says it does not sound like me, and hangs up, so for some years now I have been retaining an expensive Bell landline just so that I can phone her (landline) twice a week. Does anyone know of any cheaper ways of phoning the UK, whilst keeping a high quality of sound? I live in rural McNab Township, near Ottawa.
