Title: Help from a Portuguese nurse
Post by: Joao Rodrigues on January 10, 2020, 10:07:45 AM
Hello fellow Mustachians, this is my first post so be gentle with me :)

I am portuguese nurse living abroad in the british capital, and i'm a recent follower of the blog.

I've been amazed by so much info available but i'm still confused and fearful on how to invest properly on the UK reality...

Any apps or companies like betterment or vanguard available on the UK that you would recommend? Keep in mind that i'm a complete noob when it comes to this matter and my Nurse salary is kinda thin..

Many thanks in advance guys :)

Dude, I would be fearful of investing in the UK too right now. Can you transfer your money into Euros and invest in the European stock exchange? Also buying Portuguese real estate could work out for you since it's becoming a top destination for expats.

You might want to visit the UK tax discussion (https://forum.mrmoneymustache.com/uk-tax-discussion/) sub-forum. There is plenty of UK related discussion that goes on there that is not strictly about taxes (or even finances).
