Title: Help! New Investor - Roth, Traditional IRA, 529?
Post by: bertoes on January 29, 2018, 07:08:17 PM
I apologize in advance, i imagine these topics are covered here somewhere in the forum archives... If this is the case, links would be appreciated.... However, so far on my MMM research i have not found clear advice on how to start investing when considering tax-deferred strategies.

ME: I am 31 and finally debt-free (except house) and have an emergency fund of $15,000, and i contribute 6% to my employee match 401k (currently ROTH) and i am basically looking for some guidance on where to start investing. I have 4 kids and a wife and could put aside $2000 a month if i am very aggressive. If my goal is reach mustachian retirement in my mid-forties what role do methods like ROTHs and traditional IRA and 529s play into reaching early retirement?

Many thanks to all!
