Title: Health Care Co-op
Post by: bmiles62 on November 01, 2014, 06:26:58 AM
My wife may be going part-time in about a month so she will be losing her health insurance benefits. I have been trying to figure out the best way to get her insured and ran across the Co-op idea. Here is one company that is offering it. Has anyone had experience with this? They have a 20 year track record and are cheaper than what I am being quoted currently, however the concept is different so I wanted to get some opinions from this forum.

I don't have experience with co-ops. But make sure to compare with since they have the best premiums for traditional private plans that qualify as minimum essential coverage under the law. I'm curious. Is the co-op plan listed on in your area? Any plan that meets the minimum essential coverage requirements with a good price will want to be listed on because they will get the most business there.
