Title: HBR blog: What do people have against retirement income?
Post by: pac_NW on March 02, 2014, 08:24:19 AM
Interesting post in the HBR blogs last week.  We don't talk about annuities too often in the forum.  What are your comments on this article?

Why are people so against annuities? Maybe it has something to do with the loads and the fees. http://www.fool.com/retirement/annuities/annuities02.htm

I'm sure the Dutch run system has super low fees (compare the US TSP to even Vanguard) but annuities in the US are sold by a salesperson.
