Got Promoted. Made Purchase to Celebrate.

I was promoted at work. So excited about this!

To celebrate, I treated myself to a cup of hot chocolate on a cold day. $2.65.

After I paid the $2.65, I thought about how "cheap" I was being and smiled.

That's really all I needed. I went a bit further though. In the evening, I bought a fancy pantsy chocolate bar with crystallized ginger and shared it with the family.

Big spender, I am.

Personally I think making an extra nice dinner (or even, shock horror, going out to eat somewhere lovely) is a good way to celebrate promotions :-) or a picnic with chocolate dipped strawberries!
