Title: Good free (or not) software to generate organizational charts?
Post by: milliemchi on February 18, 2016, 10:38:16 PM
Does anyone have experience with this?  Is there anything better than PowerPoint? I wouldn't mind paying something if it's worth it.  Thanks.

MS Visio is great.

There are some good apps too.

Probably not exactly what you are looking for, but mind mapping like coggle.it might do the trick.

Thanks everybody for such a quick response. I'm now registered with Lucidchart.com and plugging away on my chart. I think it will work great for my needs.

diagram.ly is pretty good, but lucidchart is also very good.  I love visio, but it's not necessary if you're just drawing org charts.

Whatever you do, keep it simple.  I get org charts at megacorp that look like a rat maze...
