Can anyone tell me if I can give more that $13,000 to a person in one year? Thank you!

yes per person per spouse.

So if you are married and your giftee has a spouse you could do $52,000 a year.

OR

you could just use up some of your universal gift tax exclusion and give as much as you want.  You just have to file a gift tax return.

but basically, $13,000 is what you can give per year without either giver or receiver having to file anything with the irs, more than that requires paperwork
