Fold-Up Home Bench/Fitness Center
« on: December 29, 2021, 06:27:43 PM »
I'm seeking a foldable home fitness center and hoping people can make recommendations. I'm seeking some particular items for my fitness center: leg extension, leg curl, pulldown. If the gym uses bands or cords so I don't have to buy/store/move weights, so much the better. What do folks recommend?

I have been using a bowflex (out in the barn) for 20-some years. Replaced a few parts like the bench rollers but the power rods still seem ok... resistance does seem temperature dependent. Pretty much every muscle group you want to target and all while wearing PJ's. Easy on the joints because resistance increases nonlinearly with flex amount.

What model is it? Does it fold up?
It would be helpful to have something specific to search for on Craig's List, etc.

The bench folds up and bolts to the frame. That model was called the "sport" but was also called the "classic" and is now discontinued, however there are many, many newer models and you would have to look into the details. I often see them on craigs or fb market at half retail cost or less.
