I was lazy/spendy and bought my floor mats via amazon or ebay (along with cargo area mat and center console). Didn't like buying mats, but from what I've read, the carpet will wear out real quick without them.
Got the fit huh?
I've been looking at this little thing and can't quite figure it out...
Got approved for the EV version but I can't stomach leases... I do like the car, but its kinda pricey for what it is.
I had a civic SI '08 that I averaged 29 mpg over 4 years. The fit does t appear yo Gert much better.
Clutchy, with that name, I assume you'd be buying the manual tranny. I had some misgivings on the low EPA MPG as well (came from '98 civic hx). But, if you try, you can painlessly exceed 40mpg mixed driving on the gas fueled, base model Fit with 5spd manual. I've been getting 41-42 on my daily commute (10 city/30 hwy roundtrip), which drops to 35-36 when on long highway journeys with two adults and cruise control set at 75. If you head over to the "fit freak" forum,
http://www.fitfreak.net/, and search, you'll see a
wide range of mpg results, but mine is not unusual for those seeking to maximize.
