Finding a job-search buddy
« on: July 14, 2018, 07:23:51 PM »
I'd like to find a new job, but I'm having trouble getting motivated (probably because my current job is okay, just not great). In the past, I've been able to get things done when I had a "buddy" to report to. Does anyone know of an online mentoring/support group for job searching? So far I've only found in-person groups (I'm in the DC area) for the unemployed, and that doesn't seem like a good fit. Any other suggestions to get myself motivated are also appreciated!

Could start a journal here or a "throw down the gauntlet" thread, too.

You could get one of those online therapists or coach who you can report to.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
