As I finish off my taxes today, I'm kicking myself for not putting more into retirement this year. Since I have 24 hours left before the filing deadline, I was thinking about putting some money into a fairly conservative fund.
Funds with a 10k min would be ok, that's probably about what I would be putting in. I am planning to start my ladder soon-ish, so want something that won't absolutely tank if there's a market crash in that time, and in exchange I'm OK with low growth. My main goal is the tax savings now and keeping a little ahead of inflation.
What are your favorite recession-safe (not recession proof, as I know even a conservative fund will experience loss) funds available through Vanguard?
