I just started working at a small tax office & just spoke to my coworkers about other similar things in this field. They proposed that I should become an enrolled agent While I understand that they can represent clients in Tax Court, I wanted to know if there were additional benefits to something like this, and what the approximate charge to hire one would be, since the answer seems to vary from person to person
