How do I open iphone to insert SIM card?

So, I got a hand-me-down iphone 5.  Ordered the SIM card from Airvoice, read MMM's instructions on inserting card and porting #.  However, as a non-tech, never owned a smart phone person, I am not sure how to actually open the phone!!  I see nothing to slide or snap or whatever.  I don't want to force anything and possibly break it.  Is there a trick I'm missing??  Thanks for any advice!

The nano SIM card can be accessed out of the little slot looking thing with the hole next to it on the right edge of the phone using a paper clip.

As for the 4FF nano SIM card size? If it was a 3FF micro SIM you needed, I'd tell you to cut it yourself... but given how closely you have to cut to the chip itself and could damage it, it might be easier with a SIM cutter. This isn't to say it can't be done, but...

Before you do this, be sure not to activate the account first... and order a couple extra Airvoice SIM cards. At that point, however, it would be cheaper and easier just to have someone cut it for you as it wouldn't be any more expensive.
