Plenty of chicks here need to come out of their shells and post eggcentric puns.

The longer the thread gets, the harder and harder the puns are to white. We may be ap-poaching the point where we've run out.

C'mon man, we can keep this going.  You just got to look at the sunny side of things.

Egg prices have gone back to normal!  The mustachian principle of not buying when the price of stuff spikes holds up.  I picked up a dozen eggs for the lowly price of $0.19 each at my normal grocery stop on the way home yesterday.  The total supply was still low, but the price had deggflated.

Omelet the OP chime in here in a minute, but...

The economics of backyard chickens are probably close to revenue-neutral, but I do like knowing what the chickens ate that produced the eggs I then eat, and we treat them like fregging royalty.

I'm really happy about the recent drop in egg prices!  I eat 3 per day.  Recently they had 18 egg carton for 99 cents so I stocked up for the whole month.

The grocery store aisle with the eggs is the place it is eggsiest for me to eggpathize with deggpreggssion era folks who streggled with hoarding the reggst of their lives.

That urge to save eggery piece of string, to keep eggerything that might one day prove useful, that lifetime of eggxiety about livelihood.

I look at the packed shelves, overflowing with low cost sources of those most enjoyable meals.

The urge to fill the cart at 9 cents per egg is oveggwhelming.

I can only make use of so many though.

I remember the empty shelves.

I will never forget.
