Decorating with Artwork or Photo Frames
« on: June 08, 2015, 04:11:38 PM »
I'm 26, male and rent rooms in shared houses for my living situation.

I've got three large photo frames that I can hang on the wall but since I move rooms or houses every year or so I never see the point of hanging them up.

I'm also a minimalist so prefer to just sell/donate/throw away anything I don't need. I'm feeling these photo frames and the fact that they just sit in the cupboard gathering dust a bit silly as I'm frugal and minimal.

I don't take that many photos. I do however, have a 100 leaf photo album that I absolutely cherish. It has around 30 photos in it and I add to it 1-2 photos per year on average.

Should I just get rid of the frames?

Also on the discussion, how does a Mustachian decorate their rooms/homes?

Prop them up on a window sill or shelf.  Don't the frames hold meaningful pictures you'd like to see?

Oh, and we have a crapload of framed photos displayed at our place. All of a loved one or happy memory.  I smile or remember a good event when I see one.  Way better than matching blinds or whatever a properly decorated home has.
